They tap your link. On an Android phone it opens the Play Store straight away, with your code invisibly attached.
They install the app and sign up. Your code is saved onto their account, not their phone, not their browser. It stays there for good.
They subscribe later. Whenever they come back to the website, sign in with that same account and pay, your share appears here. That can be the same day or three months later, on any device.
On a laptop or an iPhone your link opens the website instead, and your code is remembered in that browser for 90 days, so a download button clicked there still counts.

Clicks but no sign-ups is a landing-page problem. Trials but no payers means the product is not landing with your audience.
Estimated → Confirmed → Paid. A new commission shows as Estimated while the payment processor is still settling, usually a few days. Once the exact fee is known it becomes Confirmed and can be paid out. If a customer refunds or charges back, that commission is Reversed and comes off your balance.
